Join us for our 11th Annual Whiskey Fest at our Stoneham location! This is our favorite event to host with over 100 different whiskeys to sample from!

As we do every year we will have a number of limited releases including some Single barrels and some surprises to unveil at the event as well! Hope to see you all there!

For those not familiar with our whiskey week it starts on Black Friday and ends the Friday after. That week any bottle of whiskey you purchase gets you 1 raffle ticket any one of our Redstone single barrels get you 2 tickets (As a bonus on Black friday you will get 2 for each btl of whiskey and 3 tickets for one of our barrels)

These tickets are drawn to determine our draft order. Number of spots depend on the number of allocated bottles that we will have available for sale. If multiple tickets get drawn it moves you up in the draft (ie. your name pulled 5 times and someone else 2 times you move ahead of that person in the draft. )

Bottles in the raffle include but not limited to our pappy allocation (15y, 20y, 23y), old rip van winkle(10y, 12y), Buffalo trace antique collection, 4R 130 Annv, OF Birthday Bourbon, Parkers heritage, etc.

We are excited to announce the arrival of our hand selected single barrel of Four Roses bourbon! This barrel happens to also be one of our favorite recipes, OESV. The OESV recipe mingles four roses high corn (75%) mash bill with the “V” yeast strain which according to four roses is known to produce a delicate fruit profile.

This barrel in particular exudes tons of vanilla and slight toasted caramel reminiscent of a rich crème brûlée. Let it breath for a moment and revisit to find notes of dark cherry lingering on the long finish. Mouthfeel for days and rings in at a modest 112.4 proof with very minimal heat. Should also note this barrel was also bottled a couple of weeks shy of its 10th birthday and came from warehouse LE which is especially known for its spectacular liquid.

This selection will also be the first barrel of our Gauntlet series. Select Redstone barrel society barrels this year will be part of this series. Each bottle will come with a unique color “Infinity Redstone” wax seal on the side along with a sticker identifying the unique stone on our RL gauntlet.

Only 96 Bottles will go on sale at 1pm this Wednesday July 31st at our Stoneham location for $79.99/750ml and will be limited to 1 bottle per person. Anyone who supports our barrel program by purchasing one of our other Redstone barrel society single barrels currently in stock will be allocated a 2nd bottle to purchase.

Join us as we Continue to commemorate our 10th Anniversary. The last in our series of Fest style events is our WHISKEY FEST! With months of planning this lineup is proving to be one not to be missed! (like seriously this list all be bananas)

We will ALSO  be releasing not one but two our hand selected single barrels…

The first being our Knob Creek Bourbon Barrel this year’s pick was born on January 16th of 2004 making it almost 15 years old. This barrel is proofed higher than the OG version and is a certifiable “cherry bomb”

The third is our Virginia Distilling RUM cask finished highland malt whiskey! This is the 3rd and final in a series of highland malt whiskey that we have exclusively for our redstone barrel society customers. The original 2 (cold brew and red wine cask finishes will also be sampled at this event)

Bonus: Remember last years Old Weller antique Barrel? Well we Partnered with Single Barrel Cellar and had them age their incredible maple syrup in it for us. They also went a step further and added vanilla beans and cocoa nibs to a portion of it to give us TWO versions of this delicious pairing of whiskey and syrup. Perfect to make cocktails with or pour over waffles, ice cream and pancakes. (they will also be in house pouring samples so you can taste)

Bonus # 2: Union Square donuts will be at this event with a special donut made with one of our single barrel whiskeys! They will also have a variety of their regular offerings to treat yourself to. They will be catering this event those in attendance so no “to go” offerings but we will have plenty on site for you to enjoy in between samples!

Limited releases: We will have a number of number of allocated items on hand for some lucky folks to purchase. these releases will be done “cookie jar” style similar to what we did at last years fest…Rules: a $5 donation (or more its all for a good cause) to shriners children’s hospital will get a pull from the cookie jar, this cookie jar will have raffle tickets for the following allocated items and folks will have a 50% chance to pull out a winning ticket. If you pull a winning ticket you have the option to purchase that particular bottle (at MSRP). (109 winners!)

We are excited to have Wes Henderson, Co-Founder of Angel’s Envy host a Classroom event at our tasting room in Stoneham.

Learn how the brand was created, the story behind it and hear about the distillery. Angel’s Envy Straight Bourbon, Angel’s Envy Rye Whiskey as well as Angel’s envy cocktails will be sampled along side light bites.

Wes will be signing bottles purchased in store that day. In addition 5 bottles of this years Angel’s Envy Cask Strength will be available for sale to those who attend the event. (drawing style should more than 5 people wish to purchase this rare bottle)

Excited to announce the arrival of our latest Redstone Barrel Society Whiskey! This time we teamed up with Virginia Distillery to bring you Another rare and unique offering.

Last Month we released our Coffee cask finished highland malt whiskey. This time we took the same whiskey and instead finished it in a french red wine barrel. Same whiskey completely different flavor profile.

Their Virginia-Highland Whisky (which is made from 100% malted barley, marrying whisky from Scotland with whisky made on-site in Virginia) was then finished in French red wine casks! The result is fantastic but still real distinct from the last cask we had finished from them, This scotch style whiskey has a nuanced character with notes of dark fruits, raisins, plums and slight strawberry. Bottles are $59.99/750ml and available at both Redstone Liquors Locations as well at at our friends at framingham liquors and Nobscot wine & spirits!

Super excited to announce the arrival of our whistle pig Rye whiskey single barrel bottled exclusively for Redstone barrel society we had the daunting task of tasting multiple barrels at the farm (tough job we know) and found this gem…aged almost a full 13 years (even though bottles say it’s a 10 year) proofed at 113.9 this barrel exudes notes similar to that of a Old Fashioned…citrusy orange rind and cherries compliment a weighty body that leaves a lingering sweet finish with minimal heat. One of the best and unique single barrel rye whiskies that we have had the pleasure of selecting

We are excited to announce the arrival of our Knob Creek Single barrel RYE Whiskey! This is only one of a handful of barrels to hit the state of MA ever!

New to Knob Creek this Single barrel program lets us hand select special barrels, we then taste at cask strength as well as proof them down to 115 proof. The particular barrel that we have selected was 128.8 proof out of the gate, it started and finished off HOT!

Proofing this down to 115 opened up the aromatics displaying sweet cherry and toffee notes it also dissipated the heat leaving us with a Rye Whiskey that still has a chewy and vicious mouthfeel with soft rye spice in the front, sweet and delicate cherry and dark chocolate notes creep up in the back palate and linger throughout the finish making you crave that next sip.

The barrel yield was limited to only 180 bottles so stock up and enjoy while supplies last!

We are proud to host Brent Elliott, Master Distiller for Four Roses Bourbon. He will be pouring samples signing bottles and talking bourbon from 12-2pm Saturday February 24th at our Stoneham location.

A native of Owensboro, Kentucky, Brent became Master Distiller at Four Roses Bourbon in September 2015 and he is uniquely qualified for this role… after all, he’s been helping Four Roses select exquisite barrels of Bourbon at their peak of maturation for the past ten years, working closely with former Master Distiller, Jim Rutledge.

As the Distillery’s Director of Quality, Brent’s decade of experience with Four Roses includes everything from applying his Chemistry degree to evaluate Bourbons in the tasting lab, to taking part in the selection of barrels for special Single Barrel bottlings and Limited Edition products. Brent applies his on-the-job experience to his role of Master Distiller, ensuring that each Four Roses product has the fruity, smooth and mellow character, along with a hint of spice, that the brand has become known for around the world.

Every stage of the distillation process is critical and you’ll find Brent’s heart and soul in every one of them.
