Thursday March 19th at 6:30pm Kiran’s Kookies be hosting a paint your own cookie night at Redstone’s Liquors classroom space in Stoneham! The folks from Night Shift Brewing will be sampling you on a lineup of their world class craft beer all while Kiran’s Kookies walks you through hand decorating 3 of our famous cookies all appropriately themed of course (owl, beer mug and a pretzel). The best part, you get to take these cookies home with you (that is if you can resist eating them first).

Cost: $40 (includes one seat at event, 3 cookies, decorating supplies, beer samples & some cool Night Shift Brewing swag)
Bonus: Attendees will also get 10% off of anything purchased at Redstone Liquors the night of the event.

Usually our “Whiskey week” kicks off on Black Friday but things this year will be a little different. Instead of kicking off Whiskey week (an entire week where raffle tickets for our whiskey draft are given) we will still have our Black Friday rules for tickets (read below) but this will be for Black Friday only.

But no need to worry for those folks that are traveling or can’t make it we will still have our whiskey week however it will most likely be in a couple of weeks from now (will announce date at a later time) where you can still get tickets on purchases of whiskey. Whats the reason for this change you ask? In addition to our distributors not shipping out any of the BTAC, Pappy, allocations yet. Some of our barrels like Blantons, Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare and 2 completely different Knob Creek picks were delayed in bottling and are yet to arrive but expected in any week now. We wanted to give folks the opportunity to bulk up on these picks and earn those bonus tickets on our single barrels!

Black Friday Rules for whiskey draft raffle: Purchase any bottle of whiskey 750ml only and receive 2 entries. Purchase any Redstone Single barrel selection get 3 entries. These entries go toward our annual whiskey draft raffle for your chance to purchase those unicorn bottles like Pappy, BTAC, 4R LESB, OFBB, Parkers, Birthday Bourbon and more…

All this being said we are super excited to launch our 4th barrel in our Infinity RedStone series! Our first Single barrel of Old forester will be released at 9am Black Friday! Join us for our 11th Annual Whiskey Fest at our Stoneham location! This is our favorite event to host with over 100 different whiskeys to sample from!

As we do every year we will have a number of limited releases including some Single barrels and some surprises to unveil at the event as well! Hope to see you all there!

For those not familiar with our whiskey week it starts on Black Friday and ends the Friday after. That week any bottle of whiskey you purchase gets you 1 raffle ticket any one of our Redstone single barrels get you 2 tickets (As a bonus on Black friday you will get 2 for each btl of whiskey and 3 tickets for one of our barrels)

These tickets are drawn to determine our draft order. Number of spots depend on the number of allocated bottles that we will have available for sale. If multiple tickets get drawn it moves you up in the draft (ie. your name pulled 5 times and someone else 2 times you move ahead of that person in the draft. )

Bottles in the raffle include but not limited to our pappy allocation (15y, 20y, 23y), old rip van winkle(10y, 12y), Buffalo trace antique collection, 4R 130 Annv, OF Birthday Bourbon, Parkers heritage, etc.

We are proud to announce the arrival of our Redstone Barrel Society exclusive bottling of Joseph Magnus Straight Bourbon. This Particular barrel was aged for 13 years and 3 months and was originally distilled in Indiana (uhum MGP). Unlike some Magnus selections we chose to keep this barrel unfinished to maintain its Awesomeness.

This selection of Joseph Magnus Bourbon rings in at a modest 106 proof. It boasts strong aromas of vanilla and sweet caramel. Upon first sip cherries and other ripe stone fruit shine through, layers of sweet caramel along with lightly dusted cocoa and dark chocolate creep up on the finish. Slight chocolatey tannins leave you yearning the next sip. (Cadbury fruit and nut in liquid form)

Each bottle has our “Magnus Cum Laude” sticker afixed to the back letting you know your palate has earned high honors. In addition bottles are waxed dipped in silver, gold as well as a few select bottles with both.

Bottles go on sale Wednesday October 9th 2019, 12pm at our Redstone Liquors Stoneham location for $105/750ml. Anyone who purchases a silver waxed dipped bottle is eligible to purchase another bottle with gold wax. The first 15 people who purchase both the silver and gold waxed bottles are then eligible to purchase the Gold & Silver waxed bottle to complete their set.

BONUS: each bottle of our Joseph Magnus Single barrel bourbon gets 3 tickets to our annual whiskey draft to be held in November.

So excited to announce the arrival of our Elijah Craig Single barrel bourbon. This particular barrel was rested for 8 years in Rickhouse EE on the 6th floor. (one of our favorite warehouses so no surprise it outshined the other 9 and 10 year old barrels that we put against it) It rang in at a monster 133 proof out of the cask before being proofed down to 94 at bottling.

Of all the Elijah Craig barrels we had tasted on this trip this one was a clear cut winner. Boasting a heavy dose of nutty caramel on the nose, a mouthful of cherries on the palate and a slightly sweet dusting of baking spice and stone fruits on the long long finish, this is the perfect accompaniment to a crisp fall night or a decadent treat after dinner.

Bottles go on Sale for $34.99/750ml at 1pm At both Redstone Locations as well as a small amount at Framingham Liquors. Our other Redstone Barrel Society stores (Kelly Square Worcester, Nobscot wine & Spirits, and Conti Liquors will have very small amounts avail tomorrow morning)

This is also the 2nd Barrel in our Infinity Redstone series and has our Waxed Yellow stone on the back of each bottle. Collect the entire lineup in the Gauntlet and you will get awarded Bonus Tickets in our Annual Whiskey draft later this year for your crack at getting your hands on some of the most sought after whiskey on the planet.

We are excited to announce the arrival of our hand selected single barrel of Four Roses bourbon! This barrel happens to also be one of our favorite recipes, OESV. The OESV recipe mingles four roses high corn (75%) mash bill with the “V” yeast strain which according to four roses is known to produce a delicate fruit profile.

This barrel in particular exudes tons of vanilla and slight toasted caramel reminiscent of a rich crème brûlée. Let it breath for a moment and revisit to find notes of dark cherry lingering on the long finish. Mouthfeel for days and rings in at a modest 112.4 proof with very minimal heat. Should also note this barrel was also bottled a couple of weeks shy of its 10th birthday and came from warehouse LE which is especially known for its spectacular liquid.

This selection will also be the first barrel of our Gauntlet series. Select Redstone barrel society barrels this year will be part of this series. Each bottle will come with a unique color “Infinity Redstone” wax seal on the side along with a sticker identifying the unique stone on our RL gauntlet.

Only 96 Bottles will go on sale at 1pm this Wednesday July 31st at our Stoneham location for $79.99/750ml and will be limited to 1 bottle per person. Anyone who supports our barrel program by purchasing one of our other Redstone barrel society single barrels currently in stock will be allocated a 2nd bottle to purchase.

Excited to announce the arrival of our Knob Creek Single Barrel Bourbon. This year’s pick was born on January 16th of 2004 making it almost 15 years old. This barrel is proofed higher than the OG version at 120 and is a certifiable “cherry bomb”. Weighty mouthfeel full of cherries and caramel, minimal heat with a finish of dusted cocoa and mocha.

This barel will be released at both Redstone locations at 12pm October 27th (Same date as our 10th Anniversary Whiskey fest in Stoneham)

Samples will also be available at the fest.

We are excited to have Wes Henderson, Co-Founder of Angel’s Envy host a Classroom event at our tasting room in Stoneham.

Learn how the brand was created, the story behind it and hear about the distillery. Angel’s Envy Straight Bourbon, Angel’s Envy Rye Whiskey as well as Angel’s envy cocktails will be sampled along side light bites.

Wes will be signing bottles purchased in store that day. In addition 5 bottles of this years Angel’s Envy Cask Strength will be available for sale to those who attend the event. (drawing style should more than 5 people wish to purchase this rare bottle)

Excited to announce the arrival of our latest Redstone Barrel Society Whiskey! This time we teamed up with Virginia Distillery to bring you Another rare and unique offering.

Last Month we released our Coffee cask finished highland malt whiskey. This time we took the same whiskey and instead finished it in a french red wine barrel. Same whiskey completely different flavor profile.

Their Virginia-Highland Whisky (which is made from 100% malted barley, marrying whisky from Scotland with whisky made on-site in Virginia) was then finished in French red wine casks! The result is fantastic but still real distinct from the last cask we had finished from them, This scotch style whiskey has a nuanced character with notes of dark fruits, raisins, plums and slight strawberry. Bottles are $59.99/750ml and available at both Redstone Liquors Locations as well at at our friends at framingham liquors and Nobscot wine & spirits!
