We are super excited to announce the arrival of not one but 2 different Single barrel Bourbons from Knob Creek. Why 2 at once you ask? We wanted to showcase just how all single barrels are not created equal with each one unique in its own right. A little bird also told us that these single barrels will not be as easy to get next year.

Both of these barrels were aged on the 5th floor of the same warehouse (W-L) only a week separates their age and both proofed at 120. That being said both are so wonderfully different from each other. For those not afraid to experiment, when blended together at home you will gain an entirely new perspective on how two incredible bourbons can not only stand alone and be great but create an entirely different experience when married together.

Barrel 1 we dipped in WHITE WAX to signify its huge vanilla presence. Bold up front baking spice and toffee make way to a BIG ending that is reminiscent of a vanilla beans soaked in a creme brûlée topped with subtle notes of dark stone fruit asking if they can join the party.

Barrel 2 just 6 days older than its sibling is dipped in RED WAX to signify its Big Bold smack you in the face with a bunch of Cherries flavor profile. On first sip you will notice a massive body with notes of caramel and slight bakers spice trying to make its way through what feels like an entire orchid of cherries! Juicy and robust the cherries dominate the mid palate but leave you with a finish of oatmeal cookies and slight cinnamon tingle having your tongue just begging for you to take the next sip.

50% White 50% Red= 100% Incredible! We were not kidding when we say mix these two together. A mixture of half white barrel and half red barrel gives you a burst of maple syrup, vanilla bean and stone fruit on the nose. The mouthfeel it creates is velvety and bold with an over the top knock out punch of bing cherry, vanilla & caramel leaving you with a spiced oatmeal cookie and dried cherry finish that lasts for days.

So excited to announce the release of our Redstone Barrel Society Single barrel of Old Forester this Black Friday. This barrel will be the 4th installment in our Infinity RedStone series and featured a Blue wax stamp and sticker signifying the 4th installment in this single barrel series.

This particular barrel was pulled form Warehouse O floor 1 at the Old Forester distillery. The original proof was 136.8 when it was thieved out of the barrel before bringing it down to 90 proof. starting out at such a high proof aided in not sacrificing the vicious body and overall mouthfeel of this bourbon as you can chew on it for days. Nose of dried apricot, slight oak accompanied with a caramel drizzle. Mouthfeel is chewy with cherries, vanilla, toffee and baking spice on the mid palate. Finish is lasting with a slight tingle of a sweet vanilla laced spice and dark cherry making your mouth water for the next sip. (Pro tip: slight splash of room temp water will accentuate the nose and back end flavors of this bourbon).

So excited to announce the arrival of our Elijah Craig Single barrel bourbon. This particular barrel was rested for 8 years in Rickhouse EE on the 6th floor. (one of our favorite warehouses so no surprise it outshined the other 9 and 10 year old barrels that we put against it) It rang in at a monster 133 proof out of the cask before being proofed down to 94 at bottling.

Of all the Elijah Craig barrels we had tasted on this trip this one was a clear cut winner. Boasting a heavy dose of nutty caramel on the nose, a mouthful of cherries on the palate and a slightly sweet dusting of baking spice and stone fruits on the long long finish, this is the perfect accompaniment to a crisp fall night or a decadent treat after dinner.

Kam-al Young is an OESV recipe which represents a high corn mashbill and Delicate Fruit yeast strain. Its aged for 9 years 6 month and has a bottling date of January 10th, 2019 and is proofed at 127! Mouthfeel Weighty AF, Cherries dominate with sweet caramel undertones, Finishes sweet with lingering cherries. Did we mention it embodies notes of cherries.

Over the years the legendary Al Young has helped Kamal pick some winners for the store. Al unfortunately was not available during this trip out to KY so Kamal made this pick with Al in mind.

For those who do not know Kamal, he is the guy who tastes and has final say on each and every single barrel that has the Redstone name on it. For those who are familiar with those bottlings know that Kamal LOVES picking high proof caramelized Cherry bombs! This barrel is is exactly that but bigger and bolder with a predominant flavor profile of you guessed it, cherries! Kamal has never and would never put the Redstone name on a barrel he did not feel Redstone customers would love, imagine how good a barrel would have to be if he agreed to let us put his own name on it!

We are happy to announce the arrival of our Non Chill Filtered Old Weller Antique 107 Single Barrel Bourbon.  Weller is usually one of the most sought after of our our many barrel picks and anticipate that this years will be no different.

Notes on this barrel include a full body that has boasts layers of caramel in the nose, cherries upon cherries in the mid palate followed by a sweet bruleed sugar finish.  So many cherries that we decided to name this years pick “cherry potter”. As a way to commemorate our 10th Anniversary the first 150 bottles sold will have special stickers affixed to the back with our cherry potter and redstone 10th Anniversary logo. 

Bottles will be released at 5pm Tuesday December 18th at our Stoneham location ONLY. Bottles will be 1 per customer at $29.99/750ml. In an effort to take care of our regulars a limit of 2 bottles (at a 10% discount on the weller ($26.99/750ml)) will be offered to anyone who purchases any other 750ml bottle of Whiskey on that visit. Due to the popularity of this barrel there will be a strict no hold policy and will be first come first served.  

Excited to announce the arrival of our Redstone Barrel Society Single barrel pick of Blanton’s Bourbon. This Bourbon was barreled was November 20th of this year at 93 proof. This barrel brimms of freshly cut crisp green apples and caramel from the nose all the way through the finish, Weighty mouthfeel and silky finish making you eagar for that next sip.  

Due the recent popularity of Blanton’s we have to limit these to 3 bottles per customer though the week to help spread around the love. This barrel yield was only 246 bottles. Available now at Redstone Liquors locations in both Stoneham & Andover and will update when our other barrel society stores get their shipments.

We are honored to be able to offer our customers this rare recipe to commemorate our 10th Anniversary. The Four roses OESO recipe does not hit shelves too often as its used as part of the blend that makes up their small batch. This particular barrel has been aged form 12 years and 9 months before being bottled on Nov 7th of this year it also has a modest proof of 96.8. Only an handful of OESO barrels at this age are available in the entire country!

100% of the profit of this particular barrel will be given to Shriners Children’s hospital in Boston. Bottles will sell form $75/750ml and will be limited to 1 bottle per customer. Bottles will be released on Thursday December 13th at 5pm at our Stoneham Location (no sooner)
