Usually our “Whiskey week” kicks off on Black Friday but things this year will be a little different. Instead of kicking off Whiskey week (an entire week where raffle tickets for our whiskey draft are given) we will still have our Black Friday rules for tickets (read below) but this will be for Black Friday only.

But no need to worry for those folks that are traveling or can’t make it we will still have our whiskey week however it will most likely be in a couple of weeks from now (will announce date at a later time) where you can still get tickets on purchases of whiskey. Whats the reason for this change you ask? In addition to our distributors not shipping out any of the BTAC, Pappy, allocations yet. Some of our barrels like Blantons, Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare and 2 completely different Knob Creek picks were delayed in bottling and are yet to arrive but expected in any week now. We wanted to give folks the opportunity to bulk up on these picks and earn those bonus tickets on our single barrels!

All this being said we are super excited to launch our 4th barrel in our Infinity RedStone series! Our first Single barrel of Old forester will be released at 9am Black Friday! So excited to announce the arrival of our Elijah Craig Single barrel bourbon. This particular barrel was rested for 8 years in Rickhouse EE on the 6th floor. (one of our favorite warehouses so no surprise it outshined the other 9 and 10 year old barrels that we put against it) It rang in at a monster 133 proof out of the cask before being proofed down to 94 at bottling.

Of all the Elijah Craig barrels we had tasted on this trip this one was a clear cut winner. Boasting a heavy dose of nutty caramel on the nose, a mouthful of cherries on the palate and a slightly sweet dusting of baking spice and stone fruits on the long long finish, this is the perfect accompaniment to a crisp fall night or a decadent treat after dinner.

Excited to announce the arrival of our latest Redstone Barrel Society Whiskey! This time we teamed up with Virginia Distillery to bring you Another rare and unique offering.

Last Month we released our Coffee cask finished highland malt whiskey. This time we took the same whiskey and instead finished it in a french red wine barrel. Same whiskey completely different flavor profile.

Their Virginia-Highland Whisky (which is made from 100% malted barley, marrying whisky from Scotland with whisky made on-site in Virginia) was then finished in French red wine casks! The result is fantastic but still real distinct from the last cask we had finished from them, This scotch style whiskey has a nuanced character with notes of dark fruits, raisins, plums and slight strawberry. Bottles are $59.99/750ml and available at both Redstone Liquors Locations as well at at our friends at framingham liquors and Nobscot wine & spirits!

We are excited to announce the arrival of our Knob Creek Single barrel RYE Whiskey! This is only one of a handful of barrels to hit the state of MA ever!

New to Knob Creek this Single barrel program lets us hand select special barrels, we then taste at cask strength as well as proof them down to 115 proof. The particular barrel that we have selected was 128.8 proof out of the gate, it started and finished off HOT!

Proofing this down to 115 opened up the aromatics displaying sweet cherry and toffee notes it also dissipated the heat leaving us with a Rye Whiskey that still has a chewy and vicious mouthfeel with soft rye spice in the front, sweet and delicate cherry and dark chocolate notes creep up in the back palate and linger throughout the finish making you crave that next sip.

The barrel yield was limited to only 180 bottles so stock up and enjoy while supplies last!

We are happy to announce after a long and torturous wait, our custom blend of Tequila Cazadores has finally landed! We blended añejo with different reposado tequilas (some housed in older barrels and some in new ones) the result was well worth the wait. Mild notes of peppery spice from the reposado barrels take over the front palate while sweet candied vanilla from the Anejo takes over an ever-long finish leaving you salivating for the next sip.
