We are happy to announce the arrival of our latest hand selected Single barrel Bourbon. This particular Four Roses single barrel Bourbon is a special one indeed as this barrel only yielded a total of 42 bottles! It was bottled at 64.8% (129.6 proof) and hosts the “E” mashbill (75% corn 20% rye and 5% malted barley). The yeast used in this recipe is the “F” strain which is known for its herbal characteristics and was aged 9 years and 10 months.

For those unfamiliar with the Four Roses single barrel  bottlings, each barrel is unique as it will host its own unique character so you are truly getting a one of a kind bottle. While supplies last, each bottle purchased will get a raffle ticket for a chance to purchase a btl of the Four roses limited edition small batch (2016).

Notes: Sweet up front with a punch caramel and spice, notes of apricots and dark fruits creep up in the mid palate leaving you with a seasoned toasted oak, dry citrusy finish leaving you savoring the next sip.

Details of this year’s annual Whiskey draft!

It’s every whiskey drinker’s favorite time of year. When many of the best-known distilleries around the US release their flagships, not to mention some of the highest rated whiskies start hitting the shelves. The only issue is there is never enough of these releases to go around. Our solution is the Whiskey Draft raffle.

With the success and the fun of past years drafts we have once again decided this to be the best and most fair way of rewarding our customers with a chance of scoring some of this rare whiskey (at MSRP)

Whiskey week (as we like to call it) will start on Black Friday (November 27th) and will run though (Friday)December 4th.
Rules: For every bottle of 750ml whiskey purchased at Redstone Liquors (Andover or Stoneham) during Whiskey week you will receive one raffle ticket (all same raffle)…

For every bottle of 750s from one of our many Redstone Exclusive single barrel picks you will get 2 raffle tickets: (while supplies last)

BONUS: Any bottles purchased on Black Friday will get 2 tickets per 750ml and 3 tickets for a Redstone barrel pick.

On December 7th we will draw from the stack of raffle tickets collected to create a Draft order. First overall pick gets their pick of which whiskey they wish to purchase from the pool. Second pick get to chose from the pool of whats left and so on…

The more tickets you have in, the better your chance to get a spot… But note you can only win once. If we draw your name multiple times you will get moved up in the list. (the folks with the most tickets drawn will move up in the draft based on number of time we pull their ticket). For those that only get picked once your spot on the list depends on the order it was picked.

When called you must make your pick while on the phone with us so that we can contact the next in line with what is avail to them. If messages are not returned the same day we must move forward in the list until you call us back. If calls are not returned for 2 days you will lose your spot in the draft.

There will be a chalkboard of all available whiskeys in the pool waiting to be drafted and how many bottles of each posted in store during whiskey week, this list will not be posted online so swing on though and get your tickets today.

You asked and we listened. For years we have been taking suggestions on how to make your shopping experience at Redstone Liquors a more enjoyable one but were always limited in what we could offer with the space that we have….until now!

We are happy to announce that for the past year we have been rigorously working to build you a new a flagship store. One with enough space to not only expand on our already vast selection of Beer, Wine & Spirits but also offer up a creative, modern and unique shopping experience making each visit a memorable one.

We will be moving our current store sometime in the very near future to a brand new BIGGER location within the same shopping center (next door to Michaels and the new salons by JC). Things are now starting to move quick as the finishing touches are getting installed within the next few weeks! We plan on revealing more details as we get closer to the opening.

We want to take this opportunity to give a BIG thank you to all of our customers for all of the support in our current location and are excited to offer you a more convenient and upgraded shopping experience moving forward. In the mean time we will continue to stay open in our current location and as always look forward to seeing you all.

Day of Doom is a 12% Belgian Quad with rich malts as well as notes of dark fruits and dark sugars. This Quad is most definitely a big beer with big complex personality to match.

Masterson’s Rye is the highest rated Rye whiskey via whiskey bible at 96.5 points. It was also given high praise in whiskey advocate last year at a 90 point rating. When given the opportunity to hand select a single barrel version of this Rye last year we jumped all over it. Masterson’s has become one of our house favorites for sure.
