    Bottles of this years Redstone Barrel Society Selection of Blanton’s are expected to arrive and will go on sale Friday December 27th at 4pm in our Stoneham location. Bottle limits will be 2 per customer, anyone who also purchases any of our other available single barrels during this release will be able to purchase an additional bottle of Blanton’s as well…

    Tasting notes: Nose of Cherry jolly ranchers and caramel. Rich and silky mouthfeel with notes of fresh citrus fruit, red delicious apple and maraschino cherries leave way to lingering citrus and baking spice accompanied by slight hint of cinnamon on the finish.

These were packaged in 750ml sized bottles and are available at both locations.  This years single barrel boasts flavors of oak and toffee in the front with a slight cherry finish, mouthfeel is robust and a hint of spice as it warms.     Once again happy to announce the arrival of our hand selected single barrel of Blanton’s Bourbon. These arrived just in time for our annual whiskey raffle. As a celebration we will be offering 3 raffle tickets on the 750ml bottles form this Redstone hand selected Blanton’s barrel.

    Here are some tasting notes from our Redstone Exclusive barrel
    Nose: A spicy aroma of Dried Citrus and Orange Peels with a burst of Caramel and hint of Vanilla.

    Palate Entry: Full bodied, marked by a mix of Burnt Sugar, Caramel, Toasted Vanilla Orange, and Cloves.

    Finish: Balanced with Vanilla, Honey, and slight Citrus.

    Best Served: Any way you like it…Straight, on ice, or used in a premium cocktail.

    The finest bourbon in the world comes from a single barrel. That’s the way Colonel Albert B. Blanton first bottled his private reserve bourbon nearly a century ago. Blanton believed the “center-cut” or middle sections of Warehouse H were the best for aging his bourbon. Personally tasting and choosing each barrel, these barrels were reserved and bottled for ambassadors, dignitaries, family and friends becoming the world’s first single barrel bourbon. His time honored tradition lives on today as only a handful of barrels from the center of Warehouse H are selected to become Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon.

    We are happy to announce the arrival of our hand selected barrel of Blanton’s bourbon. During our trip to KY we were given the opportunity to go through various samples from different barrels and selected one in which we felt stood out from the pack. Bottles from this particular barrel were packaged in 375ML and 750ML bottles and will have our personalized crest outlining its exclusivity (750ml only, 375s were too too small to hold our crest). You will also find a mix of 8 different horse stoppers, when put next to each other will replicate the start to finish of the horses position during a horse race. each stopper will also adorn a letter to spell out “blantons” when you own a complete set. These will only be available for a limited time so swing by and secure your bottle today. We know you will like this as much as we do.
