We are excited to announce a Private Beer/Food pairing event with one of our favorite breweries, Allagash! This event will be held in our Stoneham classroom and will be hosted by Marissa from Allagash brewing. Marissa will guide you through 7 rare and unique sours and will be pairing small bites with a few of the styles. You will get in in depth perspective on what goes into making these world class beers and how versatile this category of beer can be. This event will be limited to the first 20 people to sign up by calling our stoneham location @ 781-438-9265.

Line(if any) for Tasting and Cookie Jar Raffle will start at 12:30pm (outside of the store). We will start checking IDs and granting admission promptly at 1:00PM  NOTE: if you are not tasting or wanting to draw from raffle you do NOT need to wait in any line!

Tasting hours are from 1PM-3PM ONLY but releases will be throughout the day per schedule below.

WHAT IS COOKIE JAR RAFFLE ? :

1:00pm is Cookie Jar time. Any person who gives a donation of $5 or higher to Shriners Childrens Hospital will get to place their hand in the “Cookie Jar”. This cookie Jar will have 75 raffle tickets. 24 of which will have names of various rare whiskeys, if you draw one of those names you get the opportunity to PURCHASE that item at MSRP.

NOTE: you have to be here at 1:00PM and one of the first 75 people for a chance to draw. Donations given earlier in the day are still appreciated as 100% will be given to Shriners Childrens Hospital.

The following is a release schedule for all of our Special release items during our Customer Appreciation day on April the 8th. Items will be released for purchase at the time on the list (no sooner or no later NO exceptions

We are pumped to have brewer Evan Watson from Plan Bee brewing in town to host a tasting event at our classroom in Stoneham. Plan Bee is new to MA but no rookie to the brewing game. Their beers are world class all the way and would put them up against some of the top breweries out there. You will get to taste through a variety of Plan Bee beer that is normally not available in MA. Evan will guide your palate as your taste buds explore the wild flavors that his beers exude. As a bonus attendees will have the opportunity to purchase beers that are normally only available at the brewery in NYC.

When: This Wednesday March 29th from 6:00-7:00pm

Price: This event is free but is limited to the first 12 people that sign up by calling our Stoneham Location at 781-438-9265.

Bonus: We will have some plan bee beers available to purchase to those in attendance that are not usually available in MA.

ABOUT THE BREWERY
At Plan Bee Farm Brewery our mission is to brew 100% New York State ingredient beer. We source all our ingredients from the state of New York with many grown on site. Our beers go from ground to glass within measurable feet of their origins. Our goal is to work with local businesses to produce a delicious product for the community we serve.

At Plan Bee Farm Brewery, our beers are created by the limitation of local resources. From the yeast we cultivate from our honey comb, to the grain and hops in our fields, if it isn’t in our community it doesn’t enter our beer.

Today, brewers talk about ‘local’ craft beer while sourcing ingredients from around the world. At Plan Bee Farm Brewery, we define ‘local’ as that which grows in New York State, if not on our farm. Over the course of the next few years we will work tirelessly to reduce the radius of our sourced ingredients. The goal is to be able to say, “I planted & processed everything in this beer personally.”
ABOUT EVAN AND EMILY
Plan Bee Farm Brewery was born through the creativity and experience of Emily and Evan Watson. They moved to New York City in 2003 after Evan signed a recording contract. After several years of sharing music around the nation, Evan decided he was ready for a new challenge.

From Emily’s experience growing up on a farm in Ohio to working in an environmental non-profit for the Hudson River and Evan working several years at the esteemed Captain Lawrence, they were ready to marry their experience. In 2013, Emily and Evan moved north to Fishkill, NY to a small farm and began working on their dream of a 100% sustainable brewery.

In 2015, Plan Bee Farm Brewery moved to a 25-acre farm in Poughkeepsie, NY. The new location features an original 3-story 1830’s barn which fully renovated houses their stainless steel 10BBL steam-fire brewhouse, local HV open oak fermenters, coolship, and a barrel aged sanctuary for wild, 100% NY ingredient farmhouse & sour beers tied directly to the farm & the Hudson Valley.

We are Excited to host Tim Adams, owner of Oxbow Brewing (one of our staff favorite breweries) as he speaks about the history and evolution of Oxbow and where they fit into the world of beers. He will put a  focus on their farmhouse ales- how they’re made, the differences between styles in that category; as well as his personal philosophies about these beers.

Attendees will get a chance to taste some Oxbow beers (Some not regularly avail in MA) and will also go home with a bottle of something special from the brewery.

Join us for a introduction to Sour beer class. This class is meant to showcase the different styles of “sour” beers available today. This class will be lead by Paul from B. United imports who has been in the industry for years and is a wealth of knowledge.

This year we have a special treat for our KBS release. Founders was nice enough to allocate us a keg of KBS for a fundraiser that we will be hosting in conjunction with the bottle release in our Stoneham location.

Starting Wednesday April 6th at 5:30pm through whenever this keg is kicked we will be selling raffle tickets for $3 per. 100% of your $3 will go toward Cancer research at Dana Farber. Your raffle ticket enters you in a drawing to win some pretty cool brewery swag like tin tackers, neons, etc. As a special thank you for donating to a great cause your ticket also gets you a 2oz pour of KBS from our draft system!

We are happy to announce the release of our latest Redstone Exclusive beer! Mystic Brewing last and Final judgement.

Mystic brewing took our hand selected 4 roses and buffalo trace bourbon barrels and aged their award winning belgian quadrupel (Day of doom) in them for over a full year. The result is an amazing 11% belgian quad that boasts flavors of raisin, plum & dates and marries them with vanilla, and toasted coconut on the finish. The lighter carbonation of this release makes for a silky body with a creamy mouthfeel that is great on its own but will pair wonderfully with your favorite dessert.

Quantities are limited so swing down to either our Andover or Stoneham Locations to get your bottles today.

Bottles will go on sale Friday April 1st @ 3pm at both locations.
